I don't remember hearing about that. I was no longer living just outside the track by then. I do remember that whenever the track was running the gamblers took up all the parking spaces on my block to avoid parking in the lot....

Yeah, under the endzone in the Meadowlands. I remember when some workers Aquaduct had a strike in the early 80s or late 70s. I was stayng with my dad for a week and the workers on strike were slashing tires in the parking lot of those going to the track....
