I was an agent of the U.S. Border Patrol. Cops are behind the 8ball from the first moment they have to interact with a criminal.  The cops have to follow rules, while the criminals don't....

On reflection I find this extremely hard to believe. Were you a police officer? They regularly lie to suspects about what their associates are telling the cops in another room; it is a standard interrogation technique. The cops lie by doctrine.  ...

I do not know you so I cannot speak to your personal behavior. I would note though that you were a cop and that all the cops lie. It is baked into the culture....

You have no concept of truth or integrity, as you've proven over and over again. No, I never lied in the performance of my duties.  Ever.  Even if I was capable of it, I worked for an agency that would have washed their hands of me in a heartbeat if I'd ever perjured myself in court....

I can honestly say I never lied.  Not on my reports, and not in testifying before the courts.  That was a point of honor for me.
