Read too much ****, some people start to believe it. Ole Karl blew his legacy saying Capitalism would end around 1850. Fifty years later, a German socialist continued talking about the ills of Capitalism yet here we are. 

For some reason, it is entertaining as **** to me reading about their high education and high level college courses which they most assuredly got A+++++++(like Trump smart) yet complain about the current system (and Boomers). Wasn't the whole idea to use that education and go out in the world and kick ***?

Your question (bolded) earned the “post of the day” nomination…that question alone hits the nail on the head…it is, in itself, so profound, it eliminates all doubt…it literally needs to be posted in every classroom in America…whoever doesn’t get it does a 2 yr minimum in the military…MAGA!

The funny part is, MOST highly successful "capitalists" never got a "college degree" of any kind because in doing so, would polute their minds into thinking that SOCIALISM would be a far better way to live.

In TODAY'S America, the facts are simple- the TRADES are paying more today than many "college degree" kids earn, if not MOST of them. A degree in Women's studies isn't in great demand. HVAC techs, welders, plumber, and electricians can pretty much name their salary. Not to mention that MANY of them will break off from the employee designation and become OWNERS of their own venture. And become wildly successful doing so.

This IDIOT who wrote the OP is just that- a **** IDIOT without a single "prediction" that he/she can point to that actually happened.

Another great point…Microsoft and Apple are 2 great examples…

Spot on…I’ve noted over my work career is that people who grew up on the farm were the most loyal, hardest working individuals I knew…hands down…

Carnegie never saw the inside of many classrooms. John D. Rockefeller went to a bookkeeping school for 3 months. JP Morgan, no college. I can go on, but BRILLIANT MINDS use COMMON SENSE to grow WISDOM!! Something VERY FEW if any of these "college educate" IDIOTS ever achieve.

The point of college TODAY is to infiltrate the minds of mush with COMMUNIST ideology, not education. PERIOD!! And many of them can recite and regurgitate verbatim what their professors preached as "gospel". It's truly sickening to hear some of the propaganda they've been taught.

Hell, I wore out 3 lawnmowers I bought broken and fixed in order to mow lawns during the summer for $5 a yard. I stayed busy and cut 3-4 a day, 5-6 days a week. Hell, that was a GOOD income back in those days seeing how minimum wage then was $1.25 an hour.

The trouble I have with "The Creator" concept pushed by religions of the world is that the entity I'm required to worship is completely unknowable.
Religious folks believe they "know" . . . they don't. They can't.

I can still imagine/believe/conceive in the notion there had to be a beginning to it all. Call that God if you like.
My creator really doesn't care if I believe in him or not. Why should he?
Of what importance are my pissant thoughts?

The wonder of it all. For all we know we are a complete accident.
There may be other accidents out there too. So what?

Actually it's funny you mention that, b/c even if I wanted to do those "manual work" jobs - which I don't, and don't need to for that matter - it wouldn't make a dent in my finances.

Also my quality of life would deteriorate significantly so yeah...no thanks  

A while back, I remember reading a thread / forum of Toronto residents talking about how - even though they are making "upper middle salaries," they cannot save for anything meaningful b/c taxes, inflation, corporate price gouging, and general cost of living ate up everything they earned.

I told them to thank "Late Stage Capitalism" (which includes the gubmint bureaucracy refusing to tax billionaires - whom you love / worship / endeavor to defend at any and all cost - and instead shifting the burden onto the middle class wagie slavies)

You know there was one guy (living in Toronto) who makes very good money and takes 3-4 vacations a year overseas? You know what he does?
